Selfie

I know taking mirror selfies doesn't actually qualifie as outfit photos, but that's all I got for you today.
So as you may have already read in my previuos post I am in London at the moment with Lilla. She has a quite minimal style which mostly consits of basic pieces. Sometimes she mixes it up with a the fair amount of print in her wardrobe.
Anyway this outfit mostly features Lillas pieces. It's really on trend to spice up monochrome outfits with a pop of colour, for which here I used my navy shoes, tie dye sack and red lippies ( unfortunately not seen in the pics ).

UK

I am truly sorry for my long absence, but this past week had me flying from Hungary to England, just to arrive in London with my best friend Lilla (our guest star for today) and starting my massive search for a job, which, so far, has been very dull, but anyway on a happier note here are a few snaps we shot the other day after a long day.
As you can see London still doesn't have the hottest summer, but the weather has still been okay, with a little sunshine here and there. You can still make summer work by adding tights and a chunky sweater/leather jacket, whatever floats you boat.

Lilla is wearing:
Pullover: Forever21
Shorts: Forever21
Tights: H&M
Backpack: Primark
Shoes: Primark

Obsession

Every summer comes a new obsession, high waisted washed out denim shorts, crop tops, stripes and this summer my choice is jungle print. I am so in love with this tropical pattern, that I seem to find on more and more shop shelf's. This print screams summer with all its vibrant colours. Par it with all black ( or white, whatever floats your boat ) and you have the most effortless summer outfit!

Summer Weddings

I never really dreamed about my wedding, or know exactly what kind of dress I am going to wear, but the one thing I have totally planed out, it is going to be in the summer. I love being invited to summer weddings and this dress is the perfect option! I love the asymetric print in the middle, the vibrant mixture of the colours clashing on the crisp white base.
I decided to pair it whit all black, but you can go, all white if that is more your ground!

Goddess

Summer has arrived, making my life a huge mess, with on-and-off wifi, loads of traveling and new adventures. I am honestly trying to get myself together, while unpacking my stuff, but instead I am munching on Oreos and watching Skins. Woops.
Anyway, I took these pictures before, I went to Berlin for a week ( which by the way, was amazing ). The summer heat was at its highest here in Budapest, and decided to start my black faze. Clever me, I know. But seriously I felt, like a warrior wearing this outfit, inspired by Iggy Azaleas Goddess song, which is just amazeballs. A huge thank you to the The Sammydress Team* for making me feel like a goddes!

Wandal x FTP

In the past week I have been sick, celebrated one of my best friends birthday and had massive exams, which explains my abstinence from the blog, but I am back now with sunny weather and short-shorts, aka everything I have been craving for the past eight months.
Honestly my style goes down on the fashion scale as the temperature goes up. In the summer literally all I wear are shorts and a baggy tee, maybe a really baggy dress.
Here I paired one of my favourite printed shorts with a simple white tee from my friends tee shirt brand. You should definitely check them out here!
Now I should probably get back to studying, because I have two exams tomorrow... Yay for end of the year finals!

The weather has been stunning for the past days and I am soaking in every sunshine that touches my skin. I love summer so incredibly much.
This week me and my friend challenged each other to only wearing skirts and dresses for a week (and well it is not a challenge, for me, but it is still fun). I remember eyeing this pinafore in a Primark 1 pound flash sale, of course I got it since, well bargain and never wore it.
So inspired by this week I got it out from my closet and gave it my best effort.
Mission accomplished? You decided!

Printx2

Matching print with print is a very tricky game and you do need to be a daring to pull it off. But it can be paired to an utter perfection!
Here I paired this monochrome flower pattern skater dress with a little jacket that I found in my Greatgranny's closet. It always feels great to wear pieces, that you know have seen things. Been to places.
That's all I got today. It is pissing down with rain outside, so I am just gonna get myself a lovely bowl of blueberries and watch endless episodes of Skins!

1 year

Sitting in front of my computer wondering what to write in my first outfit post... It seems like it was just yesterday, when actually a whole year has past since then. This past year has brought a heap of changes to my life: I am at a new school, I have many new friends. I changed. My style changed.
Many times it was real rough to write this blog, even when I got one view a day and was studying for huge exams to get into my dream school I still tried scheduling my blog in here and there. I thought about giving up so often, but this little space gives me so much joy, because it's mine. It's my small world where I can express myself and my always growing love for fashion.
I have always been interested in the fashion world, but looking back my own style started forming when I started this blog. It helped me so much to understand that style isn't about following trends and copying everything you see in magazines. It's about finding inspiration in the people you love, nature, art and well anything to be quit franc.
In honor of fashionteaparty's one year anniversary I decided to style this cobalt blue midi skirt, which was featured in my very first post (check it out here). I paired it my white traditional Hungarian print top for an outgoing colour scene. Finishing touch my used out Converse, as per usual.
I am truly looking forward to another amazing year, and I hope you guys come and tag along!!
